Why Talk Yoga With Agi?

They are personalized, one-on-one conversations designed to delve into the depths of yoga beyond the mat. With over 20 years of experience as an Iyengar yoga teacher and a PhD in yoga, Hinduism, and gender studies, I offer a unique space where scholarly insight meets practical application.

These sessions are an opportunity to explore yoga from philosophical, historical, practical, or personal perspectives—tailored to your individual journey. Whether you’re seeking clarity on specific concepts, integrating yoga philosophy into daily life, or exploring the rich tapestry of yoga stories, our conversation will adapt to what emerges as most valuable for you.

These conversations can include untangling a philosophical concept to sitting with a moment in your practice that keeps asking questions. Sometimes people come with something specific; sometimes they arrive with a feeling and we find the words together. I’m especially drawn to conversations that touch classical texts, Indian narrative traditions, and the places where practice and life refuse to stay separate.

Session length: 60 minutes on Zoom | 550(~$150)
